Mare Breeding Management Services & Fees
Equine Reproductive Services, L.L.C. offers mare owners a safe and efficient breeding
facility to meet all of their mares breeding needs.
All breeding, whether cooled, fresh or frozen semen is performed with artificial insemination to
ensure the safest and most sanitary conditions possible as well as to encourage a higher number of pregnancies. Diagnostics such as uterine
culture, cytology and biopsy are also conducted as required by our veterinarian. This is confirmed by ultrasound to assure optimal timing of breeding.
Many of the mares that arrive during the breeding season are booked to one of the resident stallions. However, a large quantity has contracted for outside
stallion services. For these mare owners we monitor the mare's cycle, coordinate semen ordering with the stallion station of choice, perform artificial
insemination, obtain and complete all necessary paperwork and document breeding history for your records.

Mare Fees
Fresh or Fresh Chilled Semen Breeding
Farm Service fee $300.00, includes pre-breeding palpations, ultrasounds, routine insemination and record keeping.
(Does not include mare care, hormones, cultures, cytology or flushing if needed).
Frozen Semen Breeding
Farm Service Fee $350.00, includes pre-breeding palpations, ultrasounds, routine insemination and record keeping. (Does not include
mare care, hormones, cultures, cytology or flushing if needed).
Embryo-Transfer
Farm Service fee of $1000.00 includes all palpations, ultrasounds, routine inseminations, record keeping and up to three embryo flushes.
If a successful pregnancy does not result after the third embryo flush the normal rate of $350.00 per flush will be charged. Please note the
chute fee is only applicable for one specified breeding cross. When breeding the same mare to multiple stallions, additional chute fees will
e charged accordingly.Additional fees will be incurred for implantation and leasing of the recipient mare. A list of receiving stations is available
upon request
Mare Breeding Soundness Exam
$250.00 includes Examination, ultrasound, culture, cytology and biopsy.

HCG - $30.00 per injection
Deslorelin - $40.00 per injection

Biopsy - $120.00 includes lab fees and shipping

Mare Care
Dry mare - $13.00 per day
Wet mare - $15.00 per day
If no chute fee has been paid the mare care is $25.00 per day
All mares must show proof of veterinary administered vaccines at time of arrival, if not
given prior to arrival, will be given by veterinarians employed by ERS:
